Learn to Skate
Our Learn to Skate Program is where it all begins. From weekly sessions to Summer Clinics, all ages and levels are welcome and will be taught by the top coaches in the New England Area. As a member of U.S. Figure Skating, the Elite Edge Skating Club teaches the Learn to Skate USA model, the proven leader in early athlete development for ice skating.
Elite Edge Skating School provides a fun and safe skating experience for skaters of every age and all levels, while teaching correct technique and promoting health and wellness.
Learn to Play
This program is open to skaters who have completed Basic 3 and above. Figure Skates are required. The Elite Edge Skating School Learn to Play Program (LTP) is run in conjunction with Wellesley Youth Hockey. The program introduces skaters to more advanced skating skills and introductory puck-handling techniques. Following USA Hockey’s American Development Model (ADM) our Learn to Play program utilizes small area games and small group sizes to reinforce these techniques.
The Aspire / Bridge Program introduces skaters to the elements of figure skating and a beginning training program. The goal is to provide the fundamental skills so each skater will be able to join the club freestyle ice sessions comfortably. Skaters will also gain a better understanding of what is required if they choose to continue to skate recreationally or begin a competitive career.
The Aspire / Bridge Program teaches figure skating skills at a faster pace in a group workshop setting. Skaters develop new skills and practice their technique — all while having a fun group lesson with friends!
